This week we are 36 (ish) weeks pregnant. We are getting closer and closer every day now! In case you didn't know, I am on maternity leave and have taken FULL advantage of my time off. My daily routine may include trips to the pool, but it also includes SO many projects around the house. I honestly don't think I would feel as prepared as I do for Carter's arrival had I not taken this time off before his arrival. Stay tuned later this week for updated pictures of his nursery! Here is what it looked like back in May.
We have an ultrasound scheduled for this Friday, and I can't wait to see what he is doing in there. According to TheBump.com, he's still in the 17.2- to 18.7-inch and 4.2- to 5.8-pound range and continuing to beef up. My due date (now August 19) is quickly approaching and time sure has flown. He started the size of a raspberry and now, he could be born anyday now and be perfectly fine.
Pregnancy Symptoms at 36 Weeks
- Pelvic discomfort --pressure, pressure, pressure.
- Difficulty sleeping.
- More heartburn and ankle-and-foot swelling.

Mel
