Lovely Lake Travis

By Melody Warren - 8:43:00 PM

Greetings!

This weekend was another one for the books. Terrance and I were lucky enough to be invited to his client's lake house on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas. We were very excited by the invitation and knew it would be nice, but we weren't even prepared for the fun that was in store for us.

Saturday morning Steve picked up Terrance and I and we were on the road to ATX. The ride from our house to theirs was only about 3 hours, so we were there in no time. After we pull into the driveway, we were at a loss for words. Here is the view from their deck...

We sat on the deck for at least an hour admiring the view and enjoying a glass of wine.

After we realized that, "yes- this is real life", we gathered ourselves and headed out to the Stone House Vineyard.

After Stone House, and several glasses of wine, it was clearly time for a nap. So we headed back to the house and took an afternoon siesta on the couch. After our naps, we woke up, had another cocktail on the deck and headed out to Oasis to watch the sunset. What a beautiful sight it was!

"She's as bright as the Dallas sky. She always holds her head up high. She loves the company of her family. She has faith in God's greater plan. She trusts I'm a good man, that's why i'll always believe. She's like Texas and she likes me".

After the sunset was a lovely dinner at the Grove and back home for dessert on the deck.

After our VERY eventful day on Saturday, Terrance and I passed out. We woke up on Sunday, got our things together and (unfortunately) had to head back to Houston.

Terrance and I had an amazing time together and we are so thankful for our relationship with the Lesem's and their overwhelming hospitality. In just a short weekend, we made so many memories and cannot wait to go back.

If you have never been to Austin, or to Lake Travis, please do so ASAP!

Until next time! xoxo
