Today I was inspired to do a random act of kindness. After hearing a similar story from my friend, Mercedes, I decided to put my plan into action this morning while in the drive-thru line at Starbucks.
I ordered my Venti Passion Tea Lemonade and my plain bagel toasted with cream cheese, and I pulled up to the window. The cashier tells me my total and I asked "How much is the total for the car behind me?" The cashier tells me "Their total is $6.27" So I tell him "I would like to pay for my order and theirs."
After getting my snacks, and my change, the cashier says to me "remember to always put good energy into the world, so you will always get good Karma back." Those words struck a cord and were a GREAT way to begin my Wednesday.
