The Broadmoor Weekend; Part 1

Hello Followers!

My mom and I arrived this morning at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. We have been here for almost 24 hours, and I am still at a loss for words to describe the beauty that is this place.

As part of our vacation, we are taking part in the Women's Wellness Weekend on-site. We attended 2 GREAT seminars tonight and are feeling inspired. We learned the power of positive thinking and the importance of health and wellness in your life. All of this beauty and positivity can really make a girl on cloud 9.

This is the view from our room. Is this real life?

We are staying in a beautiful room in the South tower of The Broadmoor property. Our room has a large balcony with a view of the lake and the Rocky Mountains. Sure beats the view in Houston!

Here is a picture of the lobby in the main building. There is a ton of seating all over the property. Perfect places to hang out and look at the beautiful scenery.

In between other activities, we made a pit stop at The Golden Bee pub on The Broadmoor property. This pup was transferred (in it's entirety) from London. It is a very cool, authentic pub with some yummy drinks and food!
