A Roadtrip to Waco, Texas

Hi followers!

Hope everyone's Labor Day weekend is off to a great start. Pretty hard to believe that it is already time to say goodbye to summer. and white pants... sigh. We started our weekend off with a road trip to Waco, Texas to support our friend James in his body building competition.

Here are James and I after he competed this morning. Great job!

Our roadtrip started with a stop at the Cypress Outlet mall and a trip to Bucees! (No roadtrip in Texas is complete until you make a stop as Bucees)

After we got our snacks, we were Waco bound!

Once we arrived at the hotel and chilled for a bit, it was time to eat! As you can see below, Charles clearly hadn't had anything to eat in ages and was so hungry that he was licking his plate. Bless his heart.

After dinner we had a fun, relaxing night at the hotel and went to sleep. We woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed on Saturday morning and made our way across the street to the Waco Convention Center for the Central Texas Showdown competition. James competed in several categories and we got to be there to see it all!

After all of the posing was done, he came to hangout with us in the crowd. Here is a look at his spray tan upclose. Eeeek!

And here is our group photo with James. We are all so thankful that we were able to make it to Waco to support him. That's what friends are for. Cant wait for Terrance and Charles to compete in October!

On our way out of town, we made a pit stop at The Health Camp. It was SO good. We had burgers, fries, tater tots, and milkshakes. Dee-lish. I had an Oreo milkshake and T had a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Needless to say, our full bellies made for a sleepy drive back to Houston.
