Happy Tuesday, Friends!
Baby Update: This week is 17 weeks (1st week of 5th month) and Carter Warren is the size of an Onion!
Time is flying!
This was a GREAT weekend for the Warren Family.
I was off on Friday and I started the weekend off by picking our friend Sammie up from the airport.
Side note: Here is a special shout out to Sammie! He is a great friend of Terrance's and I consider him a great friend of mine, too. AND he is a loyal follower of the blog! Hi Sammie!
So after I grabbed Sammie from the airport, we headed over to the doctors office for my 16-week checkup. We listened to the heartbeat and checked all of the vitals, and I was sent on my way with a clear bill of heath ($600 later! - but that is a topic for another blog post!)
After the doctor, we all spent the day hanging out and headed to the Houston Dynamo Soccer Game that night. For anyone Houstonian who hasn't yet been to a Dynamo game, I highly recommend it!! It was cheap, easy, and FUN!
On Saturday, we started our morning with a Champagne Brunch hosted at our Apartment Complex and then got ready for our Gender Reveal Party. Terrance and I have known the gender of the baby for a few weeks now, but thanks to a lovely offer by our friends Neal and Dan, we decided to keep it a secret until our sweet Gender Reveal party! So on Saturday at 3:00pm, Neal and Dan opened up their home to us and allowed us to let our secret out. Baby Warren is a BOY!! Also, we have decided to name him Carter. We are still open to middle names!
After the wonderful party, we spent the rest of the day hanging out with friends and relaxing.
Sunday was spent brunching at Grand Lux, shopping at the Galleria, and taking Sammie back to the airport. It was a lovely weekend with great weather, but it went by WAY too fast!
