My sweet Terrance and I just returned from a lovely weekend in Galveston where we celebrated our one year wedding anniversary!
We arrived to the San Luis hotel around 2pm on Friday afternoon. After checking in, we headed to a late lunch at the Gumbo Bar.
After our Gumbo adventure, we headed back to explore the resort. The San Luis Resort is a AAA four diamond hotel that sits on 32 acres of beachfront property. We chose to book a room in the "Club Ten" level.
Club Ten guest rooms are located on the 10th floor of The San Luis Hotel and feature a dazzling array of services and exclusive VIP amenities. This feature is adults only and offers VIP treatment with a Champagne toast during an expedited check-in, nightly turn-down service, a signature welcome amenity and several other amenities. Club Ten guests also receive a mini-bottle of Prosecco, complimentary valet parking and butlered breakfast service each morning of your stay. Also, sweet treats and bottled water are available on the floors lobby throughout the day.
Saturday morning, we slept in (felt SO good considering we have a 6-week old baby boy at home). After we got moving, we headed down to the hotel pool and stayed there for the rest of the day.
After lots of drinks and sunshine, we took a nap and then headed to dinner at The Steakhouse, located in the lobby of our resort. The Steakhouse is voted one of the best steakhouses in Texas!
Sunday morning was another beautiful day! Did I mention how unbelievable the weather was this weekend? Again, we slept in and enjoyed our butlered breakfast. We eventually made it out of the room and over the The Spot for a late lunch and to watch the Texans.
