This week we are 32 (ish) weeks pregnant.
If you're wondering why I
say "ish" when describing how far along we are in the pregnancy, well,
that little Carter Warren is throwing us for a loop with how big he
actually is. Dr. Boon, my OBGYN, had said from the beginning that he
looked a week or so ahead of the August 24th due date. And THEN, when I
had my gallbladder surgery,
the surgeon said that he looks SEVERAL weeks ahead of my due date.
Hmmm... sounds to me like little Carter may be making an appearance a
little earlier than we thought ...
Nevertheless, we will continue with our baby count. The newest thing that I have noticed (outside of my growing tummy) is Carter's hiccups!! They are strong, frequent and noticeable. It's a really cute and crazy feeling. According to TheBump.com,
during week 32 of pregnancy, Carter weighs in at about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds and measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches. He may have even turned so he’s in the head-down position by now,
poised for his trip down the birth canal. A woman's body is so amazing! I notice that intensity is building
in the symptoms department, as my heartburn and contractions haven't let up one bit. Someone pass me the tums!

In
